Hello, when creating a new world or with an existing world of any type, be it modified or flat world, in the latest update 1.21.81.3 the initial map does not load, it gets bugged and does not show the map

Do you have the Hide Hand option enabled in Settings > Video?

As you can see, this option is active. I see no reason why the map should not appear in any type of world.

You can’t see any maps because you have the Hide Hand option enabled. Disabling it should allow you to see maps in your hands.
