Every time I protect myself with the Shield, all it takes is one damage from a Vindicator
And the coded thought it was broken, but it was still in my inventory. To get it again, I must put it in my off-hand to use it again but if i use it to a skeleton it work normally.

That is because a shield gets temporarily deactivated and put on a 5-second cooldown after being struck by an axe. This is intentional behavior, see MCPE-154971.
