Issues with shadows causing loss of depth effect

“With the new Minecraft 1.21.80 update, the shadow effect that created a sense of depth and a clearer distinction between a full block (e.g., stone bricks) and its corresponding thinner wall has been lost. I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but it significantly worsens the visual appearance.”

“The first photo is from the previous version. The second one highlights the detail I’m referring to in the previous version (IMG_8879)and the third shows how it looks now (worse)( IMG_8886).
