q.actor_count returns 0 in first person geometry/particle contexts

The bug

The q.actor_count molang query silently fails and returns 0 when it’s used during rendering of player first person geometry or particles. When rendering third person geometry, it returns the intended value.

How to reproduce

  1. Download and open the attached world

  2. Hold the two different items in your hand and look at the display on your screen and above the frog

Expected results

The “q.actor_count” line should always display a non-zero value

Observed results

The line displays 0 in all contexts except the geometry above the frog
