Minecraft crashes after 5–10 minutes on Moto G35 5G (Unisoc T606) due to overheating – MCPE 1.21.80

Hi Mojang team,

I’m having a serious issue with Minecraft Bedrock on Android after the latest updates (version 1.21.80+). I use a phone with the Unisoc T606 (Motorola G35 5g) processor, and the game becomes unplayable. After just 1

5–10 minutes of gameplay, the phone heats up rapidly and Minecraft force closes every single time.

I’ve tried lowering the render distance, disabling fancy graphics, closing all background apps, and even using performance boosters, but nothing helps. It’s clearly a compatibility or optimization problem with the Unisoc chip.

I know it’s not a high-end processor, but it used to run Minecraft decently in older versions. Now I can’t even stay in-game long enough to build anything.

Please, could you look into optimizing Minecraft for Unisoc users again? There are a lot of budget Android phones using this chip, and right now we can’t play at all.

Thanks for your a

ttention.

That's a know issue that affects phones with Mali G57 GPUs, especially with fancy graphics ON. The only way to fix it is by downgrading to 1.20.0. I’ve already reported it to Minecraft support, but I’m not sure if they’ll do anything about it
