New hotfix cost me my worlds

I updated to 1.21.81 and had to sign into my Microsoft account again, and following this I had found that all my Minecraft settings had been reset to the default and my worlds that were created in the last 2 months had completely disappeared from the menu and my device (possibly deleted or lost forever). My worlds prior to this are still there and playable.
