Steps to reproduce the issue
On Xbox Series X, having already been logged in with an existing profile:
without a gamepass subscription and
with Account Communication & multiplayer setting “You can join multiplayer games” set to allow
Press “Play” button from main screen, opening “Worlds” tab
Expected result
Ability to select a local world I own/created and play single-player
Ability to edit all settings for a world, including Multiplayer settings
Actual result
With the exception of a few old worlds with what I presume to be a cloud download icon, every one of my local worlds is disabled with a red banner saying “Multiplayer disabled”. Trying to play opens a popup “You cannot access multplayer worlds because multiplayer is disabled. Go to Learn more to troubleshoot.” Opening “Learn more” takes me to a gamepass purchase screen.
When editing settings for a world, the General tab has a banner alert “You have disabled multiplayer in Xbox account settings. Learn more”. This also takes me to the same gamepass purchase screen. I have no idea if I had “Multiplayer game” toggled on from settings, but I am unable to edit the setting to toggle off as the entire Multiplayer tab is disabled as well.
This is my first time seeing the new UI for the Play screen so I don’t know how long this has been an issue, but all of these worked fine a month ago without gamepass. Whether or not this is the intended user experience, this effectively bricks the game for me.
