Framerate drops significantly when any system notification appears or after using the in-game keyboard

After closing the in-game keyboard used to create signs or write books, and whenever a system notification appears - such as an achievement popup or Xbox rewards popup - the framerate drops significantly. This also occurs when opening the Xbox Guide overlay whilst Minecraft is still loaded into a world.
