Friends tab no longer plays its closing animations when Screen Animations is enabled

The friends tab no longer plays it's closing animations, instead it will immediately disappear, seems to only happens when you press the X button to close the panel, tapping anywhere on the screen or clicking the cancel key will play the closing animations correctly.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to main menu or play screen, then press the "Friends" button

2. The opening animations is played

3. Now press the X button

Expected results:
The closing animations is played.

Observed results:
The panel immediately disappear.
