Issues with Physics and General PVP mechanics after updates from 1.21.51.1 onwards

Hello, This has been an issue for a while now ever since the new cloud storage regarding worlds, multiplayer worlds and realms. The main issue has been the Following.

- The swimming animation has been playing effect along side rubber banding when being hit. This is causing the screen to appear as if your going through the floor. This happens across all different ping ranges (0-300ms)

  • The recent knockback that is dealt to other players and to entities has been substantially increased causing a regular netherite sword to be the exact same if not a little more knockback than regular kb1 enchantments, this has caused a lot off issues regarding pvp and has effected Maces as well.

  • Rubber banding: This is a very big issue that has been happening across the recent versions and hasnt been fixed in over 3 months. When attacking a player or entity whilst swinging their sword or their fist, whilst critting and jumping doing such, people have been rubber banding back to a previous position then teleported forward. This has caused a lot of issues with playing the latest versions which has cause many players to stick on previous versions such as 1.21.51.1 which didnt have this issue previously. The same thing can been seen with eating food in the game. Whilst walking, jumping up and down. Eating in the game has also caused rubber banding to different positions which has stopped people from being able to eat as well.

All these problems never use to happen before.

There is a wide community that invests there time to play this game, primarily in the vanilla pvp space on bedrock, and has found it troublesome to do such on the latest versions as its completely killed the games mechanics. To test these, i have linked videos and have shown the processes


HOW TO TEST:

  • Try to walk around whilst eating food, you will notice a bit of rubber banding

  • Try to hit an entity whilst running and jumping to crit the entity, you'll notice teleporting/rubber banding backwards and forwards.

  • Test being hit by enemies/players, you'll notice as they combo you, you will start to fall through the floor and enter a swimming animation

  • Go on two different versions and test the kb of no kb swords, kb1 swords and kb2 swords. Compare the kb between a version such as 1.21.51.1 and a latest release. You'll notice the latest release will have a higher KB


    BELOW ARE CLIPS OF THE RECENT ISSUES AFTER TESTING ON LATEST RELEASES

It can be a little hard to tell, but you can see the rubber banding in all 3 clips whether or not its with eating or other things. You can also notice the KB that the mace will do on a full netherite set. In the old update 1.21.51.1 before the issues started occuring in a singular update, this wouldnt be the case, the mace wouldnt act like a kb1 sword.


There are many people that wish for this to be fixed, there are communities with over 3k people that play this type of pvp and wish for it to be fixed. I urge you to trouble shoot the issues and make changes to benefit the wide communities that exist for this style of combat.
