Villagers keep turning into Fletchers

In my survival world, I'm setting up a villager room, and I want a librarian. So I put the lectern down, but the villager grows up and becomes a Fletcher. I've checked, and there are no fletching tables in 100 blocks. This has happened with almost all my villagers, and it's super frustrating. Also, some villagers seem stuck in a corner, despite the job block being on the opposite side of the room, and they won't sleep or ever leave their corner.
