Certain Dressing Room items won't allow me to equip them even though it is showing that I can equip them

I have gotten onto my character creator today to make a new character and noticed that some of the character creator items that I own have a minecoin symbol next to them and when you go to try to equip it, it won’t equip said item even though the button to equip shows. The problem seems to persist even if I switch to another device such as my phone. Is anybody else experiencing this or is this just me?
