Vibrant Visuals: Auto exposure does not react to handheld emissive items, making them uncomfortably bright

Please note that this is not a duplicated report of MCPE-221970, though I still use the same screenshots from that one. This report is about another bug, different from the old one that has been closed as a duplicate to a report about auto exposure strength.

Description:

Auto exposure only focuses on brightness levels around the crosshair, rather than the whole screen. This does make some sense, but causes problems with handheld emissive items. In dark areas, handheld emissive items, such as torches, become uncomfortably bright, making it hard for players to make out what’s in the dark.
Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enable Vibrant Visuals, go into a dark area like a cave or simply set time to night.

  2. Take out a torch and hold it in your main hand, notice how bright it becomes.

  3. Place a light source in front of your crosshair, and wait till auto exposure kicks in. Notice again how bright the handheld torch is. This shows how bright the torch normally should be. Compare this with the results observed in step 2.

Possible Fixes:

Either let handheld items influence auto exposure, or make it so that auto exposure does not change the brightness of handheld items.
