my minecraft worlds are gone

I was moving different things in my computer storage and I decided to uninstall and reinstall minecraft and move it to a different storage, to see if it will load faster or not lag, after doing so i realized all of my worlds are gone. now i have some exported world files, but they are all from months ago and I’ve lost so much progress, and there are some of my worlds that don’t have a backup, so they are gone, but i tried moving it back to the original storage device it was install in to begin with and it came with the same results, i’ve just got done with a big project in my survival world earlier today, I wish to have this problem resolved.
