Every time I join a server, all of the other players appear with the default skins. The game sometimes also crashes and disconnects me from the server, although I don’t know if this is connected with the other bug I just mentioned. I do not know the exact circumstances of these bugs.

Are you experiencing this issue on the featured servers? Also, do you have the "Only Allow Trusted Skins" option enabled in Settings > General? If so, try disabling it and rejoining the server.
