Can’t swipe to aim while pressing a button (attack, pick block, place, etc.)

To pvp, I swipe my finger while using the controls to alter my aim. Since the most recent update, I am not able to do this. While I’m using one of the control buttons I’m not able to alter my aim. This has rendered Minecraft almost unplayable for me, as this is the way I’ve played for years.
