In this most recent version of Minecraft beta, there is an error that prevents the player from moving their view at the same time as using the attack button, for example. I consider this a very serious bug that greatly limits the character's movement.

Yes, this problem is also affecting other control modes. This problem continues regardless of any type of customization. My device model is Samsung A34 5G.
In past versions I was able to use the attack, jump and other buttons while moving my character's view, and with this problem, it is no longer possible, this further limits the experience of playing on mobile. In the video I sent above I was trying to control my character's head while using the attack button, and the camera remained still.
yeNot to mention that even when I try to aim with the bow in my video I was trying to aim but the camera wouldn't move at all. s
they should make it so that you are able to decide wether or not you want to be able to control your camera with your attack and place button. Because some people use their index finger to press the attack and place blocks buttons, and their thumb to move the camera, and if your camera also moves when you tap on your attack button, it can make it impossible to aim properly
I love minecraft but Please mojang fix this bug, after I updated to copper age I was suffering with the same bug 😞 please fix this bug or you will loose you players of this game😠
After the latest MCPE updates (particularly the ones that introduced the new touch control schemes), players have noticed a frustrating issue where the camera stops responding or moving when any action button (like attack, crouch, jump, or eat) is being pressed.
Dear Mojang Studios / Minecraft Support Team,
I am writing this detailed complaint as a long-time and passionate Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE) player who has been deeply disappointed and frustrated by a major gameplay issue that has surfaced after the recent touch control updates. This problem is related to camera movement restriction while using action buttons (attack, crouch, jump, or eat) on touch devices such as Android and iOS. It has made the game almost unplayable for many touch players and has taken away one of the most important aspects of Minecraft’s smooth and fluid gameplay experience — freedom of camera control during actions.
This complaint aims to describe the issue in detail, explain how it affects gameplay, analyze why it breaks the game’s mechanics, and request an immediate fix or rollback of the changes. I will also present feedback from the player community, examples of situations where this issue causes serious problems, and suggestions on how Mojang could resolve it effectively.

1. Description of the Bug
After the latest MCPE updates (particularly the ones that introduced the new touch control schemes), players have noticed a frustrating issue where the camera stops responding or moving when any action button (like attack, crouch, jump, or eat) is being pressed.
Previously, players could freely move the camera with their right thumb while performing other actions with their left thumb, allowing them to attack, jump, look around, and build simultaneously. This is the natural and intuitive way Minecraft has always worked on mobile. It’s what made the mobile experience smooth, fluid, and enjoyable — giving players freedom of movement and control.
However, in the current state of the game:
When a player holds the attack button, the camera gets locked and refuses to move.
When the player jumps and tries to look around, the camera often stutters or completely freezes.
Eating, crouching, or breaking blocks while trying to move the view also feels laggy, delayed, or non-functional.
This happens on all touch control modes, whether “New Touch,” “Classic,” or “Crosshair” controls, and across different device types and screen sizes.
This means that during any action that requires multitasking — such as fighting mobs, parkouring, PvPing, or even mining — the player’s camera becomes rigid, making it nearly impossible to react properly or perform efficiently.

2. How It Affects Gameplay
Minecraft is not just a casual game; it’s a blend of creativity, exploration, combat, and precision control. For mobile players, the touch interface is their only means of interacting with the world. Restricting camera movement during actions completely destroys the balance of control.
Let’s explore the real impact of this bug in different scenarios:
A. Combat and PvP
In combat, every second and every direction matters. When you’re fighting zombies, skeletons, or other players, you must aim precisely while moving and attacking. If your camera can’t move during an attack, you’re practically fighting blind.
Imagine trying to swing at a moving skeleton while your screen is frozen in one direction — you miss hits, get shot, and die. PvP battles, which rely on aiming accuracy and quick turns, become entirely impossible. Players can no longer strafe, aim, and hit smoothly.
B. Building and Mining
Building complex structures or mining efficiently requires precision camera control. Builders need to look at specific angles while placing blocks, especially in creative mode or redstone builds. Now, as soon as you hold the place or break button, your view gets stuck.
This means you can’t smoothly look around while breaking blocks or place blocks at different heights and angles without pausing between every placement — which ruins the creative flow.
C. Parkour and Adventure Maps
Parkour maps depend on players being able to jump and move the camera simultaneously. If you jump without being able to look in the right direction, you fall constantly. This makes many adventure or parkour maps literally unplayable for mobile players.
D. Survival Gameplay
Even basic survival gameplay becomes frustrating. While running away from mobs, players often jump, sprint, and turn the camera at the same time to avoid danger. With this bug, they can’t turn while sprinting or jumping, resulting in constant deaths, missteps, and lost progress.
E. Multiplayer Servers
In multiplayer servers such as Lifeboat, Hive, or Cubecraft, where fast movement and reaction time are critical, the bug completely breaks the competitive balance. Mobile players become easy targets because they can’t look around properly while performing actions — an unfair disadvantage compared to players using controllers or keyboards.

3. Why This Bug Breaks the Core of MCPE
Minecraft’s touch control system has evolved over years to provide a two-thumb, fluid gameplay experience. One thumb handles movement (left joystick) and the other handles the camera and action buttons. The magic of MCPE was always that players could act and look around at the same time, almost like using a controller or mouse.
By locking the camera while pressing action buttons, the latest update breaks this fundamental design. It’s not just a “minor inconvenience” — it changes how the entire game feels and functions.
This is similar to removing mouse control while shooting in a PC game or stopping joystick rotation while swinging a sword in a console game. It’s unnatural, uncomfortable, and unplayable for most players.
Even worse, this bug affects muscle memory. Thousands of players have spent years mastering the touch layout and the feel of simultaneous movement. Now, they must deal with stuttering or frozen camera controls that completely ruin the experience they’ve built up over time.

4. Community Reaction and Frustration
The Minecraft community has been extremely vocal about this issue. On Reddit, Twitter (X), YouTube comments, and Minecraft Bug Tracker pages, hundreds of players have reported the same problem. They all share the same frustration — “the new touch controls ruined the camera movement.”
Some typical player feedback includes:
“I can’t play PvP anymore; the camera won’t move when I attack.”
“I used to build easily, but now I have to stop moving the camera every time I place or break blocks.”
“This update broke mobile Minecraft. Please fix it or let us go back to old controls.”
“It feels like I’m fighting the game instead of mobs.”
These are not isolated complaints. They come from thousands of loyal MCPE players who have been with Minecraft for years. The frustration has led many to stop playing or switch to older versions, and that’s heartbreaking to see for a community that has supported Minecraft Mobile since its early beta days.

5. Attempts to Fix or Adjust
Players have tried multiple solutions, but none seem to fully solve the issue:
Switching between Classic, Crosshair, and New Touch controls — all still have the camera freeze.
Changing sensitivity, split controls, or button size — no difference.
Reinstalling the game or resetting settings — same result.
Even high-end devices like iPhones and gaming Androids show the same behavior.
This clearly shows that it’s not a device performance issue; it’s a core touch control input handling bug introduced by the new update.
---
6. Technical Perspective (Possible Cause)
From a technical standpoint, it seems the new control scheme update has changed the way touch input multitasking is handled. Previously, Minecraft allowed multi-touch recognition, meaning two or more simultaneous touches were registered independently (one for the joystick, one for camera, one for buttons).
Now, it appears that pressing one button (like attack or jump) takes “priority” over the camera touch region, causing the system to ignore simultaneous drag input. This breaks the concept of smooth multi-touch gameplay.
This could be a coding issue in the new UI input layer, possibly in how the touch event handlers are being managed. If Mojang’s goal was to simplify or redesign control layouts, it may have unintentionally disabled or limited multi-touch responsiveness.

7. Why This Must Be Fixed Urgently
This issue may seem minor at first glance, but it has massive consequences for playability and player retention. Minecraft Pocket Edition is one of the most popular mobile games in the world — with millions of daily players. For many of them, touch is the only way to play.
When a core gameplay mechanic like camera control becomes unreliable, the e
ntire experience collapses.
Here’s why this needs immediate attention:
1. Accessibility: Many young or casual players use touch controls
