Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play on a mac laptop with a trackpad

  2. Interact with a block with a GUI that pops up (tested on chest, barrel, smelter, grindstone, dispenser)

  3. Hit the ESC key to try and exit out of the GUI

Observed results:

GUI immediately reopens after you hit ESC, trapping you in the popup

Expected results:

GUI popup closes

This issue occurs in 25w35a (and also in 25w24a&b) with no mods or resource packs in use.

Having this exact issue interacting with anything with a GUI. Also playing on a mac with a trackpad. I am not using any mods or resource packs.

Also experiencing this on a Mac in both the current snapshot and last week’s. Game will auto-right click on seeming anything with a GUI (tested on chest, barrel, grindstone, furnace, and dispenser), making it very difficult to exit the GUI as the game constantly keeps right-clicking and reopening it.

I Installed Minecraft Beta but when I try to move the screen with the same finger I use for the attack button, it still does not work

Why is no staff taking a look at this or giving an answer. This should have enough votes now, at least do something about it Mojang.

Fix it please I am starting to get worse bc I havent trainned in days.

Please Fix it, dont make it even harder for mobile players than it already is. We already got disadvantages in Pvp. Dont make it even worse. Please

The Bug is really annoying, I can't even play normal Minecraft anymore. Change it.

For anyone else with this issue:

I ended up using the Java edition paperMC server client and then used GeyserMC to let bedrock players join. Not only is this somehow MORE stable then the official native bedrock server client, it also means you can use server plugins (for example our server uses things like dynmap and that’s a game changer). I highly suggest this over any official or unofficial bedrock server client as somehow it actually works better on a Java server with geyser lmao. 

Just learned all the basics of ubuntu server only to find out the MCBE server software is slow as crap on it....welp back to windows since running it on wine takes more time then its worth.
