Action key getting stuck on when entering an interface so you are unable to exit without it reopening instantly

I play on a Mac laptop with a trackpad, so I mostly use keys for my actions, not the second or third mouse clicks (it’s just easier on the laptop). When I use the action key to enter an interface block (chest, crafting table, sign, etc) it seems to work fine until I try to exit the interface. As soon as the interface closes, the action key goes off again (without me pressing it) and re-opens the interface, effectively trapping me in the interface. If I try to rapidly hit the escape key and move at the same time I might be able to get lucky and move enough to stop it from reopening the interface block, but even if I do that the key is still stuck on and will rapidly place any blocks I am holding, torches in my off hand, or enter any interface block I happen to let my cursor cross as I move it away. The only way to get out of it is to quit the app or (if I am able to get out of it and just point my cursor somewhere safe for a moment) tab out of the app and go back into it. I am then safe to move around and play again as long as I don’t try and enter another interface block.

I do not have sticky keys turned on and it is not getting set to on (as I have checked my settings when this happens), and nothing else is acting like this (attacking, sleeping, opening doors, etc.), just when I enter an interface block of some kind.

This has been a problem since last week’s snapshot too and it makes playing on any of these snapshots basically impossible. If this carries over to the full release, I won’t be able to play that either, which is rough. I love this game and use it to relax nearly every day.
