I can't see any skins

( Minecraft bedrock PE) I can't see any skins since the last update. This has been going on for days . when I try to enter any of the featured servers or a friend's world, I can only see everybody as Steve . I checked multiple times and “only allow trusted skins” is turned off . I tried to log in and out multiple times nothing changes . Please help I am very desperate as this is very annoying .
