Summary:
The fire texture in third-person view now uses the default texture in resource packs by Minecraft.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open a world with any of the resource packs from the list below enabled
Use a flint and steel on a block
Stand in the fire
Switch to third-person view
Observed Results:
The fire uses the default texture.
Expected Results:
The fire should have a custom texture, just as it does in 1.21.92.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
