Random tick speed does not affect copper golem

The random tick speed does not affect the copper golem oxidation like other copper items. It does not speed up the oxidation process for the copper golem when you raise the number. I compared the two, I placed a new non oxidized block and had a copper golem that had been at my house for several in game days and by the time the block was all the way oxidized the copper golem was still bright orange like when it’s first made. My random tick speed was at 85 or 90 at the time. Thanks for reading.

I believe random ticks apply only to blocks and not entities. If you wanted to make the golem oxidize faster you would need to β€œtick warp” using a mod like carpet.

I think the tick command is now in vanilla. Refer to the wikipedia of minecraft
