Upon enabling RTX features in Minecraft Bedrock Edition while using an RTX-compatible resource pack, the game suffers from immediate and severe graphical anomalies. The in-game environment is rendered incorrectly, with extreme overexposure causing the screen to fill with intense, white, and neon-colored lighting effects. Textures appear as bright, corrupted blocks with chaotic coloring, and certain objects and geometry either disappear entirely or are replaced with distorted, misplaced textures.

User interfaces such as the HUD and health bar remain somewhat functional, but the world rendering is entirely broken, preventing any normal gameplay. This issue makes RTX worlds completely inaccessible, whether playing in singleplayer or multiplayer.

With RTX enabled, the game should properly display advanced lighting effects, realistic reflections, accurate shadows, and correct textures, enhancing the overall graphical fidelity of the game while maintaining stable performance and visual clarity.

The game immediately displays severe overexposure and graphical artifacts. The lighting system behaves abnormally, oversaturating the entire screen with intense neon colors and white patches. Block textures either fail to render correctly or become corrupted, creating a chaotic and distorted visual environment.

I have attempted the following to resolve the issue, but none have been successful:

  • Restarted the game multiple times.

  • Reloaded the affected world.

  • Switched between RTX-compatible resource packs.

  • Disabled and re-enabled RTX settings.

  • Updated NVIDIA graphics drivers to the latest version.

  • Reinstalled Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

  • Rebooted the system.

  • Adjusted in-game video settings (render distance, anti-aliasing, ray tracing levels, etc.)

  • Monitored system temperatures and GPU usage to rule out thermal or hardware faults.

Despite these attempts, the issue persists consistently when RTX is enabled.

This issue renders any RTX-enabled world completely unplayable and negatively affects the intended visual and gameplay experience. Given the nature of the graphical corruption, this issue also risks inducing discomfort or visual strain for players due to the rapid, high-intensity lighting artifacts.

It’s especially frustrating that this issue persists even though there are official RTX-enabled maps and resource packs available for purchase and download via the Minecraft Marketplace. Despite RTX being a featured part of Bedrock Edition for years, Mojang and Marketplace creators have yet to release a fix for these severe rendering issues.

Many of these RTX maps are essentially unplayable in their current state due to these graphical problems, and players who have paid for RTX-supported content are left without functional experiences. There’s been no visible communication or patch addressing this longstanding issue, which undermines the reliability of both the RTX feature and the Marketplace system as a whole.

I threw this in as a bug report so if it’s not “in a ticket” then I don’t know what else these mods expect me to do because I have no other option.

And I don’t really care if the maps are free or not. If they are on the marketplace with a high end setting active by default for them if the hardware people have e support it, it should be functional.

Thank you for your report. Could you please specify the hardward that you experience this on, and the names of the resource packs you have tried?

I have Realsource RTX, Kelly’s RTX, Kings PBR RTX, I even used vanilla RTX too. All with breaking textures.

This bug severely impacts the gaming experience. I've tried reinstalling the system, switching between different Minecraft versions, searching for solutions online everywhere, and even replacing the RTX texture pack—but nothing has worked.
