Skins not loading properly in multiplayer – friends appear as Steve even after disabling “Only Allow Trusted Skins”

Whenever I join a multiplayer server, I often see other players as the default Steve skin, even though they are using custom skins. I have already turned off the "Only Allow Trusted Skins" option in the settings, but this issue still occurs.

My own custom skin shows correctly to me, but many other players appear as Steve Only !!

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Minecraft on Android (v1.21.93)

2. Turn off “Only Allow Trusted Skins” in profile settings

3. Join a multiplayer server

4. Observe other players’ skins — some are shown as default Steve/Alex even if they are custom

Expected result: All players’ custom skins should load correctly when "Only Allow Trusted Skins" is turned off.

Actual result: Some players still appear as Steve only skins, even when the option is disabled
