I have a command block, on a far chunk and it uses an inverted daylight sensor. So when it turns night it turns to day. When I am not on that chunk the command will not work. It also caused a bug that turns an area of grass to random colored pixels.

This is a intended feature, if the command block is not in a loaded chunk then the game has no way of knowing when to activate the command block.
