new disks dont respond to jukebox volume slider

when i was on a friends world (they were on playstation 5) i joined them (on my PC, running windows 11) and i found that even with jukebox slider set to 0 in my volume settings, i could still hear lava chicken and tears at full volume. both me and my friend experience the same issue.
