STEPS TO RE-CREATE
Set Brightness between 20-40 (approximately, since there are no Numbers…)
[ 8888034329335250 ]
(-105, -54, -789)
Create a world with this Seed. Then go to these Coordinates. Observe the Colour of the Lava and Bloom intensity while looking directly at the Lava pool.
Then teleport to these coordinates
(-94, -36, -901) Point your Crosshair at the darkest point you can, while still being able to see Lava on the side of your screen.
OBSERVED RESULTS
You will Notice that the Lava becomes extremely dark red and loses all Bloom effects while looking directly at it. (Because of Auto exposure) and the area around the lava becomes much darker than usual. Although this effect isn’t as noticeable in such an open area.
EXPECTED RESULTS
Lava should not Change Saturation levels with Auto exposure. And the Bloom effect should not disappear altogether. The entire scene around the Bright object should also not become as Dark as it does.
FINAL NOTES
this also is EXTREMELY noticeable in the Nether Dimension. Especially the Darkening of everything around/behind the Emissive texture. It is absolutely the Worst with Glowstone and Shroomlight. With the same world seed, go to (-326, 71, -348) in the Nether dimension. Move out from under the shroomlight and back. Notice how the entire Background becomes almost Pitch black.

Dude what?
That report was marked as “resolved” and supposedly a duplicate. A duplicate of what? this a report specifically about Auto exposure and it’s affect on ALL emissive textures.
It absolutely IS NOT resolved.
