Can't sign in to my Microsoft account on Chromebook — Creeper error code

Hello,
I'm using an Acer Chromebook 314 (64-bit).
When I try to sign in to my Microsoft account to play online, the game displays an error message with the code Creeper, and I can't access the multiplayer servers.
My internet connection is working fine; I've already restarted the game and my device, and verified my credentials.
Please check this bug and help me resolve the issue.
