Copper Golem only deposits one item (or stack of items) into each chest when organizing loot, then gets confused

If you have a copper chest, and some normal chests adjacent to it, and the copper chest contains one more slot than the amount of normal chests, the copper golem places one item (or stack of items) in each chest, then gets confused when it places another item (or item stack) after that.

This kind of takes the “organizing” element out of “organizing loot” because it’s not really organizing if it only places one item (or item stack). I explain this bug better in the attached video. (Sorry the video is choppy, my computer isn’t a gaming computer.)

Whoops, this bug is actually a design limitation. Sorry for the inconvenience…

This works as intended - from the 1.21.100.23 Preview changelog:

  • It can place an item in a Chest if it's empty, or if it contains the same type of item it is holding in its hand

Basically it will only place items from copper chests to chests if either the chest is empty or if the chest has the same item.

In the video, the copper golem places the copper sword then trys to place the copper axe. These are two different items. It could however sort another copper sword into the chest not the copper axe.
