Strider dismounting is broken and dismounts at a seemingly random location instead of where you aim

When dismounting from a strider it either places me where I’m looking, drops me through the strider, or puts me on one of the blocks or lava sources surrounding it. The placement seems random but I’ve noticed it seems to correlate with the coordinates.

I’ve tried various methods of strider docks by closing trapdoors down onto striders so the player can dismount and end up on top of the trapdoor. If you make a huge line of trapdoors along a wall you can test this yourself or look at the videos below.

I expect the player to dismount ontop of the trapdoor but it is seemingly random whether that actually happens or whether I dismount into the lava. I’ve also tried dismounting infront of the strider instead of above and it is the exact same randomness.
