I can use Vibrant Visuals on my Xbox and my phone. (iPhone 16promax), I’ve used it. In other worlds. I WAS using it, in my realm. It has the og Xbox360 Fantasy texture pack, MADE BY MINECRAFT. Everyone else is still able to use Vibrant Visuals in this realm. I loaded the realm on my phone, ONE TIME, and now, on my Xbox, it won’t let me use Vibrant Visuals in my realm. I don’t have any global packs added, or any packs that combat it (as everyone else is still able to use it) but it refuses to let me activate it.
Ive tried going to simple, and putting it back, reloading the game, restarting my console, asking on the official Minecraft discord (which gave no response, super helpful) if anyone knew what was happening, and nothing. Even on my phone, I can load a world with it, I can use it, but I can’t use it on my realm anymore. Why??
Why was it made to grey out at all if it’s able to be used on said device? I’ve never seen an issue like this in all the years Java has had these, but bedrock can’t have one that works right. If your electronic, can run it, and there’s nothing overriding it, it shouldn’t allow itself to cancel out.
Just because you log into the same realm from a different device (regardless if that device can use the shader or not) doesn’t mean the device that was already using the shader, now suddenly can’t in that realm. Please, fix this. Or tell me how to. I’ve found nothing online about this. No one’s responding to anything, and the whole situation is getting me frustrated because the builds I’m doing are heavily based on the lighting. It sucks when everyone is using the shader but Minecraft has decided I can’t.
VV will not work on worlds with texture packs. You need to remove ALL texture packs for it to work properly even if they are by Minecraft or the Minecraft Marketplace.
