minecraft slimes are not spawning like they should

so i made a new world with a blank seed so it would be random. and according to the wiki slimes are to spawn around the swamp with any clear block (in or out of a slime chunk) meaning that the swamp i went to in the video im linking should have had loads of slimes but i only got 1 slime to spawn in the whole swamp. 1. now i have been playing for 10 years i know thats not how slimes work. they will spawn around the player at about what 44 blocks away. so while i was flying at night we should have saw more than 1 slime spawn which they did not.. and as i am not the only person to complain about this as you can see from screenshots in the minecraft reddit. (which you guys should check from time to time there are alot of people who have some good ideas) 11d ago (a few days before me and my bf first ran into this issue) we then made a new realm the problem followed. here is our message from the day after where my boyfriend (igris is his discord username) stayed up ALL NIGHT (9pm uk time till 11am) trying to get slimes to spawn. attached is the video (clipped from my stream to my friend) and as you can see in the whole swamp only one spawned, which is not normal.. there should have been more slimes . and as you can see from where i ended the clip i took those coords and the seed to a map which showed me that yes there defo should have been more slimes around me than what there was as there are 10 slime chunks near me, basically no mobs around and all slime chunks (i went around after the clip making sure) are in a suitble zone for em to spawn. so TLDR slime spawns are not working like they should in swamps. fix please and thanks
