Mobs summoned with the /summon command have the incorrect models and broken AI when applied the “minecraft:as_baby” attribute

Summary:

When summoning mobs modified with the as_baby tag, the resulting entities spawned not only are not babies, but have flawed AI (e.g., Dolphins that don’t dry out on land, Piglins that don’t zombify, fast Zombies that pathfind in circles, and Happy Ghasts that have almost no AI).

Steps to Replicate:

  • Create a new Creative world with both cheats and commands enabled.

  • Open the chat and type this command:

/summon <entity> ~~~ ~~ minecraft:as_baby

  • Execute the command, the mobs will appear to spawn “normally.”

Expected Outcome:

Mobs spawned with the minecraft:as_baby attribute should spawn with their respective baby models and attributes.

Observed Outcome:

The /summon command executes, but the resulting mobs have broken AI, incorrect models, and the attributes of their infant counterparts.
