Edit: After reporting this issue, I realised that issues with Minecraft Education should be reported on a separate website (as can be seen from MCPE-189536, MCPE-191090 and MCPE-225486). Unless the policy has changed, I would appreciate it if any moderator who sees this issue could close it. Aside from that, a Minecraft Education staff member was able to confirm that this is a limitation of the Minecraft Education app.
Below is my original report:
As per the title. According to this article, you should be able to access the games folder and world files by going to Minecraft Education Edition\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds on iOS (presumably using the built-in Files app or iTunes). However, when I open my Minecraft Education folder in the Files app, I only see two items there: bootstrap_settings.json (file) and crash (folder).
This behaviour is different from Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, where you can access the games folder using the same method.
Steps to reproduce:
Launch the built-in Files app on iOS (or use iTunes File Sharing)
Go to the
Minecraft EducationfolderNotice that the
gamesfolder is not there
