I was playing and wanted to try out vibrant visuals. I go to the main menu and scroll to video then clcik on Graphics settings. Vibrant Visuals was greyed out. I went to preview to see if it was working there. It wasn’t. I then noticed that Preview said that I was running Windows 10. Yes, I have checked. I have the necessary GPU, RAM and display adapter.
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Windows 11 Pro with Intel UHD Graphics 620.
Navigate to Settings > Video.
Observe that Vibrant Visuals is greyed out.
Check debug screen or logs—OS is misidentified as Windows 10.
Expected Result: Vibrant Visuals should be available on supported Windows 11 systems.
Actual Result: Feature remains locked due to incorrect OS detection.
Windows 11 is not required to use Vibrant Visuals. You can't use Vibrant Visuals because you don't have the required graphics drivers installed.
To use Vibrant Visuals, the game must be running on DirectX 12. For Intel GPUs, you need to install graphics driver version 31.0.101.3430 or above for the game to run on DirectX 12. The latest graphics driver available for your GPU is 31.0.101.2135, so there is no way for you to use Vibrant Visuals.
