Opened Minecraft today to play with some buddies on a world we've all been playing on for years, we use bedrock because some of them are on console, so I loaded the world on my pc and invited them, on their end it said the game version was mismatched and they couldn't join till I updated, so I updated to the latest version. the update bar got stuck and took a while to finish, so i went and grabbed a drink, when i came back the update was finished and now all my worlds are gone.
ive checked where it stored the worlds way deep in the files from googles recommendation but the file is just empty like it did a fresh install when updating for some reason. It even still shows my worlds in the quick play section, so it knows at one point that they were there. but they arent even in my trash bin it just straight up deleted them for no reason
