Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Build and light up a Nether Portal at or around cloud height

2. View the lit Portal from a few blocks away (>3)

3. Whenever there are clouds behind the Portal, it will be rendered over the lit portal area.

Expected result

When Portal is viewed up close (<3 blocks away), the clouds are rendered as expected, i.e. behind the portal.

Actual result

The clouds are rendered in front of the lit portal area
