custom ranged weapons cannot pass "has_ranged_weapon" test

  1. /replaceitem entity @e[type=skeleton] slot.weapon.mainhand 0 <name of the custom ranged weapon>

  2. switch your gamemode to survival, see if the skeleton was trying to shoot you.
