Although Bedrock Edition does not have the Dolphin’s Grace status effect, dolphins do give nearby players a speed boost. The Depth Strider enchantments gives an additional speed boost, which should stack with dolphins, but it doesn’t.
How to Reproduce
Build 2 100-block long hallways, filled with water.
Have dolphins in soul sand bubble columns next to one of the hallways, so you get the dolphin speed boost in one hallway but not the other.
Determine how long it takes to sprint-swim through each hallway, both with and without Depth Strider III.
Observed Results (numbers are approximate)
With no enchantments, it takes 25 seconds to swim 100 blocks without dolphins, or 20 seconds with.
With Depth Strider III, it takes 18 seconds to swim 100 blocks, regardless of dolphins.
Expected Results
The effects should stack: since dolphins give a 20% speed boost normally, they should give a 20% speed boost with Depth Strider. I actually don’t know for sure that the effects don’t stack; it is possible that swimming with dolphins and Depth Strider III takes 17 seconds instead of 18, but this is still a much smaller speed boost than expected
Other Notes
Soul Speed doesn’t seem to work underwater unless used in conjunction with Depth Strider (25 seconds without Depth Strider, but 11 seconds with). This may belong in a separate bug report, but regardless, the dolphin speed boost does not seem to stack with Soul Speed either.
