Vibrant Visuals: The texture of the mooshroom back mushroom shadow is large

Is this because the sun is at a low angle as shadows look larger when the sun is rising/setting compared to when it is midday. I think because it is sun rise/sun set the shadow of the mushrooms look bigger than what it looks like on body of the mooshroom
