Inventory, ender chest, tags and recipes completely disappear

Got disconnected from my friend’s Minecraft world, and when I rejoined, everything in my inventory and ender chest were gone. I had a special tag to give me a few effects, and that disappeared, and my recipes had been set back to hoe it was when I first joined. I had a lot of important things, and I hope this can get fixed so other people don't lose their things.
