I created my very first world in Minecraft Preview at the end of July 2025 in order to try the changes made to copper. I have only built one house/base as I am only using this world to test things coming in the future. Also, due to this world being new I’ve only traveled no more than 9,000 blocks north, south, east, and west. Despite this I went to save my game and got the message “local save successful but cloud sync failed due to quote. There is no way humanly possible I could have used up whatever the quota is that fast. This is also apparently a problem many players experience but it seems like no fix is in sight. Due to this bug I have stopped playing for fear of losing the little progress I’ve made in this world and I am now deathly afraid of launching regular Minecraft in case it corrupts the one world I have there. Is there something that could be done or have I wasted money purchasing this game?
