Unable to move mobs in a boat using a happy ghast.

When I tried to move a villager to build limit for the Star Trader achievement the lead attached between the happy ghast and boat snapped as soon as I started to move.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Put a mob like a villager into a boat.

  2. Summon a happy ghast.

  3. Attach a lead so that they are both connected.

  4. Start moving with the happy ghast.

Observed Result:

The lead breaks when you try to move with the happy ghast.

Expected Result:

The lead stays attached to the happy ghast.

Thank you for your report!

However, this issue is Invalid.

For the Boat to move, the Lead needs to be attached to the Boat, rather than to the mob.

This behavior is consistent between Bedrock Edition and Java Edition. This means you have posted a feature request or a suggestion. This site is for bug reports only. For suggestions, please visit Minecraft Suggestions on Reddit or visit the Feedback website.

The video clearly shows me leading the happy ghast to the boat. You can’t even lead a villager anyway so that's why I had to use a boat. Please watch the video again and change this to be reopened. This is the main feature of the happy ghast and as its broken makes it useless to use. Elytras can't replace this as the lead breaks when you start flying.

My apologies. The actual issue is that you need to first crouch-use the Lead on the Boat, and then on the Happy Ghast - it does not work the other way.

Ok thank you. Ill try this
