When a world name is too long, it becomes impossible to rename it. This often happens when:
Saving a world as a copy (which automatically adds “(1)” or higher at the end).
Downloading a world from a Realm (which changes the name to somthing like GrapeGamer8655’s Realm 21/04/2025 06:29:19 - Copy).
As a result, players are stuck with long, messy, or unwanted world names that cannot be shortened or changed.
Additionally, the § formatting codes (e.g., §1, §a, etc.) no longer work in world names with the new UI. Many players use these codes to add colors for quick identification, and losing this feature hurts accessibility and customization for creators.
Expected Behavior:
World names should always be editable, regardless of length.
§ color codes should continue to function in world names, as they did in the previous UI.
Steps to Reproduce:
Case 1 – World Copy
1. Create a world and give it a name at the maximum allowed length.
2. Duplicate the world.
3. Attempt to edit the duplicate’s name.
Case 2 – Realm Download
1. Upload or create a world on a Realm.
2. Download the world back onto your device.
3. Attempt to rename it.
