Whenever I equip a character my friends will only see default characters. This annoys me as the skins which I’ve spent REAL MONEY on don’t work.

This may be a duplicate of MCPE-107425. Do your friends have the "Only Allow Trusted Skins" option enabled in Settings > General? If so, have them disable it, rejoin the world, and see if the issue still occurs.
