After updating to Minecraft Bedrock version 1.21.101.1, I cannot see other players’ custom skins. Everyone else appears only as Steve or Alex, even when I join servers like Hive, Lifeboat, Galaxite, or when I invite friends into my own world.

My own skin looks normal to me, but all other players’ skins do not load. This issue happens across multiple devices and servers, so it seems to be a global bug with this version.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Update to Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.101.1

2. Join any multiplayer server (e.g., Hive) or a friend’s world

3. Notice that all players appear as Steve or Alex

Expected Result:
