i was playing with elytra, when it brokes i didn't get broken elytra, i was in 3rd person mode and i had elytra weared but it were broken because i can not use it. trying to open the inventory it crashes. then i tryied to kill me. near the spawnpoint, i dropped a glitched item then it crashed again.
step to reproduce
1.fly with elytra untill they break.
2.when it's broke you could not fly, open the inventory then it should crash.
3.killing yourself and dropping glitched broken elytra.
device: samsung galaxy core plus JB4.2.2

Confirmed that this affects mobile devices.
Use the command {color:#d04437}/give @p elytra 1 500{color} - It will give an elytra with a broken texture (MCPE-22486) which will crash the game if the player is on Android (haven't tested other mobile platforms yet).
