Abnormal Falling Curve of Dropped Items

Steps to reproduce:

  • Make sure you’re in the 1st person perspective mode.

  • Look up at about 60 degrees relative to horizontal line.

  • Drop items by using Q.

  • Do all above in the 3rd person perspective mode.

You’ll probably see items falling in an inconsistent way in the 1st person perspective mode, and items may slide through your head.

It would also help if you could describe the issue more exactly than "falling in an inconsistent way." Is that inconsistent with itself, or with the 3rd person view, or with an unstated expectation?

Is the issue you’re reporting that the items don’t move smoothly in first person--they look like they are jumping forward before falling?

Exactly.

The correct behavior should be a parabolic falling curve rather than that.
