Armor without a trim appears to have a flow armor trim with copper applied in hot bar slots 5, 7, and 8. I had gone into spectator with a flow armor trim + copper material chest plate equipped, and that may or may not be the cause. Happened after looting trial chamber.

However, that's not a bug, you are not using a resource pack and Mojang does not have the control on 3rd part addition to the game.
