Date format defaults to US when PC time and date is set to UK

Open Minecraft Bedrock or Preview, click Play and check the date on your minecraft worlds. The date format is month/day/year even though my PC is set to UK time and date (day/month/year). I couldn’t find an option within MC to change localization.
